Crews worked to put out a fire at an abandoned building in Jacksonville that used to be home to Flaming Fire Deliverance Ministries.
Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department was called to Edgewood Avenue and Old Kings Road around 7:15 p.m.
It took firefighters approximately 45 minutes to put out the flames.
People in the area tell Action News Jax Flaming Fire Deliverance Ministries shut down a few years ago.
A sign for the church remains next to the front door.
No one was injured in the fire and a state fire marshal will investigate the cause of the flames.
