Deputies said they have identified motorcyclist sought for reckless driving in St. Johns County

Deputies said after getting numerous tips, they have identified a motorcyclist who they said has fled from authorities several times in St. Johns County.

Deputies said the motorcyclist has been seen driving recklessly in the area of U.S. 1 and S.R. 312 westbound toward 207 and then north on South Holmes Blvd.

The driver, described as a white man in his 20s to early 30s, also frequents St Augustine Beach and drives eastbound over the 312 bridge during early morning hours, deputies said.

He has a distinctive tattoo on his right arm from his elbow to wrist. They believe the motorcycle is a black Yamaha R6 sport bike with a license plate that has been tampered with so it cannot be read.

Deputies said he has fled law enforcement at high speed after their blue lights were activated several times.

Deputies and other drivers said the rider makes gestures with his hands to anyone who tries to stop him or make statements as he accelerates away.
