Duval students to make up hurricane day in January

Duval County students will have an extra day of school in January to make up for a day missed due to Hurricane Hermine.

Students missed Sept. 2 due to Hurricane Hermine.

Duval County Public Schools said students will report to school Jan. 13, which was originally scheduled as a teacher planning day.

St. Johns County students are scheduled to make up the missed day Oct. 17.
