Families are outraged after their sentimental items left on their loved one’s gravestones were removed by maintenance workers.
Action News Jax obtained a YouTube video that appears to show that items supposedly left by family members in 2015 were tossed out near the dumpster at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
After our Action News Jax's reporter Kaitlyn Chana's original story aired about a family who had problems with crew members ruining their mother's gravestone, more people started weighing in on the conversation.
The family we spoke with said the creator of a YouTube video reached out to them after seeing our report to show cell phone video she captured when the same problem happened to her.
We took our questions to the funeral home, and they directed our questions to the corporate office. At this time, we haven’t received a response back from Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
