Glynn County man charged with sexual exploitation of children

GLYNN COUNTY, Fla. — A 57-year-old Glynn County man was arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation of children.

The Glynn County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant Thursday at the home on Southern Pines Way.

Officials arrested Larry Laroche and charged him with one count of sexual exploitation of children for being in possession of child pornography.

Officials also arrested Gregory Richard Atwood, 43, on June 15 for the charge of sexual exploitation of children.

Captain Marissa Tindale said investigators with the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children’s Task Force and the Glynn County Police Department have been watching the men on-line.

Investigators used internet tracking techniques, to find them and catch them with child porn on their computers.

Tindale said the crime is growing but not just here locally but across the country.

The investigation continues in both of these cases.
