A 3-year-old boy who was shot in the head Thursday night in West Jacksonville has died, a family member said Saturday.
The family told Action News Jax on Friday that the boy, Conner Mickens, had no brain activity after he was taken to the hospital following the shooting.
Conner and his mother were shot at the home shot by the mother's ex-boyfriend, Brian Littles, police said.
Police said around 10 p.m. Thursday, JSO got several calls about the shooting that happened inside a home on Broadway. Two adults and two children were in the home at the time of the shooting.

Police said Littles entered the home and fired several shots.
Conner was shot in the head and his mother, whom family says will be OK, was shot in the leg.
Littles is in custody after turning himself in Friday. Littles appeared in court Saturday and his arraignment is set for November.
