A 79-year-old Jacksonville woman who tripped outside a Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp baseball game has died, authorities said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the woman was at the game Tuesday, when she fell.
She suffered a cut to her face and was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning, where police say her condition worsened.
According to officials, the extent of her injuries were listed as minor and the injury type was also listed as minor. The woman reportedly had abrasions and bruises.
She died late Wednesday.
