JFRD: Special Operations Team extricated person from crash on Southside Boulevard at Gate Parkway

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department's Special Operations Team extricated a person from a car involved in a crash on Southside Boulevard at Gate Parkway.

JFRD said a car hit a light pole and that light pole landed on the car.

A person was trapped inside the car, according to JFRD

The Special Operations team was able to get the person out of the car and transport the person to a hospital, JFRD said.
