JSO arrests 2 people after Murray Hill murder

Officers arrested two people after a man was shot and killed in Murray Hill on Friday morning.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said Antoinette Boyd and Leondra Jones were arrested on Friday after Russell Waddell was killed on French Street.

Boyd, 24, is charged with murder and armed robbery. Jones, 44, is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to an undetermined death in the 4600 block of French Street, which is near Hamilton Street in Murray Hill, around 12:30 a.m.

Waddell was shot and killed in the home with about three to four other people inside. None were children, according to officials.

Deputies were seen going through an SUV in the driveway. A tow truck arrived later in the morning and removed it from the the home.
