The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office had a bomb squad at a home Saturday afternoon on the 2700 block of Ector Road in the Arlington area.
Police said they successfully and safely removed a hand grenade that likely belonged to the previous homeowner.
The current homeowner found the grenade while cleaning, police say.
