Man accused of paying teen girl for sex

A man from Gainesville is accused of paying a teenage girl for sex.

The girl, 13 at the time of the incidents, told investigators she had oral sex with the man on six occasions inside his green cargo van.  The sex occurred over a four month period, according to the girl.

The victim, who is now 14, met the man through a teenage friend who witnessed the sex acts, according to the arrest report.

Jerome Terrell Hamilton, 34, is facing charges of procuring a minor for prostitution and committing lewd or lascivious battery on a person under 16.
