Man sentenced to life in prison for murder and arson

WOODBINE, Ga. — A Brunswick man was convicted of murder and arson.

Keyarn Filer, 33, was sentenced to life in prison plus 20 years Monday.

Christoper Fullmore was found inside a burning car on Old Jesup Road in September 2013.

An autopsy showed Fullmore was also stabbed several times.

Filer pleaded guilty to the charges of malice murder and arson.

He apologized to Fullmore’s family court and accepted responsibility for the victim’s death.

Flier’s 20-year life sentence will run concurrent to his life sentence.
