ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — A man is sought in connection to thefts at a store at the St. Augustine Premium Outlets, according to deputies.
Deputies in St. Johns County said on Aug. 9 a man walked into a polo store on 2700 SR 16, asked for a courtesy bag from the register, grabbed multiple items of clothing and attempted to run out the front door. A risk manager was able to block the man's way.
The risk manager was able to retrieve about five shirts, but he still left with several clothing items, St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.
The man left in a silver Volkswagen with a Florida tag BMV625, which was not valid, deputies said.
Deputies said the man is also connected to a similar theft from the store on Aug. 3. Anyone who knows the man's identity is asked to email Deputy Deleo at adeleo@sjso.org.
