Reddock Jr. was arrested dozens of times in St. Johns County and was arrested at least seven times in Duval County. Some of the charges include battery, false imprisonment, resisting an officer with violence, theft and assault.

Reddock Jr.’s father even asked for the court's protection twice after fearing for his life. His father filed an injunction for protection against domestic violence in 2005 from his son. Action News Jax learned 16 days later the motion was dismissed for protection. We’ve requested that report.

Action News Jax found court documents in 2015 where Reddock Sr. filed another injunction for domestic violence and then later terminated the order.

Reddock Jr. was found dead Thursday in a Dayton Beach hotel room with a woman. He was believed to be with Samantha Reddock, who is considered a person of interest. However, the identity of the woman found dead in the hotel room hasn't been released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing
