PHOTOS: Must-see images of damage left by Hurricane Irma
Micker's Landing Beach in St. Johns County will experience "intermittent, temporary closures" beginning December 4 through spring 2018, officials said Friday.
The beach and parking lot will be affected by the closures. The entire area will be used as a staging site for Hurricane Irma beach renourishment efforts. Heavy equipment will be visible on the beach, and everyone is encouraged to utilize caution.
