NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — The Neptune Beach Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection to an armed robbery involving an armored truck on Thursday.
Police said $48,000 was stolen from a Loomis armored truck at Bank of America at 301 3rd Street.
The department said it's looking for a young man about 5 feet 9 inches who was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt pulled tightly over his face with bright lime green shirt over top.

Police said the man is armed with a handgun and possibly traveling in a black Infiniti SUV.
Police said anyone who sees the man should not approach him and to call police. Investigators are looking through surveillance video and say the community is not in danger.
New Leaf School was briefly on lockdown due to the incident.
