The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said they responded to a traffic accident on Southside Blvd near Deerwood Park Blvd.
JFRD said there is one confirmed fatality and another person has serious injuries.

The fire department said parts of Southside Blvd are closed due to the crash and for drivers to expect delays.
