Person has 'life-threatening' injuries after motorcycle accident on Beach Blvd.

A person sustained "life-threatening" injuries after a two-vehicle crash at Beach Blvd. and Forest Blvd. April 25, 2017.

That person, Higinio P. Gonzalez, 71, was pronounced dead on arrival to a local hospital.

The Jacksonville Sheriffs' Office said that Gonzalez was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

A crumpled motorcycle could be seen next to a heavily-damaged Toyota Yaris. The Toyota had damage to the front end and a destroyed windshield.
