PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. - Police arrested Devon Shermaine Brown on Friday after reports that he exposed himself to several women.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brown, 26 years old, for violating probation. He was arrested in similar incidents in 2007, 2010, and 2011.
Police say the first incident was on July 28 in an area near Brown’s home at 3300 St. Johns Ave.
The woman was in her yard when Brown made a noise to get her attention. She says he pulled down his pants when she looked in his direction. The woman also says she has seen Brown expose himself to her and other neighbors before. She says she reported the incident because she was concerned that neighborhood children might witness similar incidents .
The second incident was Aug. 1, according to police.
A woman was walking her dog, passing the sidewalk in front of Brown’s house. She says Brown was in his home with no clothes on, standing in front of a large window that faces the street.
Police investigated and found out from people in the neighborhood that Brown has a history of exposing himself publicly.
Brown was arrested and is being held in the Putnam County Jail without bond.
Police believe there may be other victims. Anyone with additional information concerning this case should contact the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at 386-329-0801.
