Report: Teen charged with felony child abuse after Orange Park Mall incident

An 18-year-old Jacksonville man was jailed over the weekend after he reportedly put a 13-year-old into a headlock and dragged him out of a Chick-Fil-A restaurant.

Jacquez Pough was booked into the Clay County Jail after the Nov. 4 incident, which occurred at the Orange Park Mall.

According to police, Pough dragged the child into the common area of the mall. The child escaped from Pough's grasp, but Pough pushed the victim into an Auntie Annie's sign.

The child had a bump on his head but didn't require medical attention, police said.

Pough is charged with felony child abuse without great bodily harm.
