The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office held a news briefing regarding an arrest made in the 43-year-old cold case murder of Freddie Farah, where the family spoke for the first time regarding the case.
Officials reviewed some details of the case, but added that it is still under investigation and said all details would be given at a later time.

JSO did confirm that Johnnie Miller, 60, was arrested May 16 on a murder warrant. He's being held without bond, awaiting a June 26 extradition hearing.

During questions from the media, Bobby Farah, Freddie's son, addressed the media and public.
“We just want to thank the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office for all their hard work," said Bobby Farah, Freddie's son. "They’ve really done a great job following up and keeping us informed of what's been going on. We’re relieved. Some of us thought we would never see this day."
Freddie Farah owned a convenience store on Kings Road and was killed during a robbery in May of 1974.
