Action News Jax has obtained new video that shows the attack on a security guard at the Sea Colony subdivision in St. Augustine Beach.
This surveillance video shows the guard rolling on the ground as the suspect pointed what appears to be a rifle at him.

The suspect then beat the guard with the rifle as the guard tried to get away.
Police arrested the suspect, 19-year-old Jake Dewerth, on several charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Dewerth is being held in the St. Johns County Jail on no bond. Anyone with any additional information in the incident is asked to contact the St. Augustine Beach Police Department at 904-471-3600.
