West Mims Wildfire: Suggestions of how you can help from the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge

The West Mims wildfire in the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge continues to burn.

As of late Wednesday night, it had burned nearly 144,000 acres.

The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge posted suggestions on its Facebook page of how people can help.

-Donate to your local firefighters
-Support your local food banks, as evacuees may need help
-Donate to the Okefenokee Wildlife League, which supports the refuge
-Donate to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation

The West Mims fire crew is well supplied with food and water, the refuge said.
