Video: Women trash Jacksonville convenience store after trying to steal beer

A local business owner claims a woman pulled a gun on him after she made a mess in his convenience store and it was caught on his surveillance camera.

The video shows two women wiping the shelves clean as they throw everything on the floor.

The gas station owner, Nawris Ganadl Al Safadi, said it happened after one of the women came into the store.

"She took one beer and she put it in her bag," Ganadl Al Safadi said.

And he said she went to walk out the door.

"I’m asking her kindly to put it back and I told her I won't call the police, just put it back," Ganadl Al Safadi said.

The owner said the woman put back the beer and left, but then he said she came back inside the store minutes later with a friend.

He said both appeared to be in their 20s.

"She go to this shelf, drop everything on the bottom and her friend dropped all the cake and everything I have here on the bottom," Ganadl Al Safadi said.

That’s when he said he ran outside to get a look at her car and license plate.

"She pulled a gun on me. So I come back and I hit the button, the security button," Ganadl Al Safadi said.

He called police, but the women were gone by the time officers arrived.

Now he is hoping the video will help identify the women so police can track them down.

"I forgive those people, I hope they are going to have the right education to know how to treat the community, the business and the people," Ganadl Al Safadi said.

He said he just took over this store on Timuquana Road about a month ago and this is the first incident to happen.
