Police investigate killing of man found dead near abandoned building

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating the killing of a man found dead near an old Rally's on 103rd Street Saturday morning.
 
The man was identified as Thomas Trent,  JSO Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda said Tuesday. Bujeda said Trent's death has been ruled a homicide and police have obtained surveillance video of the persons of interest.
