Surveillance video shows man burglarizing cars in Orange Park

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — A man caught on camera rifling through cars is being sought by deputies in Clay County.

The man is a potential suspect in a string of burglaries around the Orange Park area.

Four burglaries took place on July 9.  Someone broke into cars outside three separate homes along Beecher Lane, a few miles south of Wells Road and Debarry Avenue.   The fourth incident happened at a home on Canoe Circle.

One victim had their wallet taken.  Another had the registration to her car and her daughter's car taken.  A third victim had his iPad stolen, and another had a bank card stolen which was later recovered.

The fifth burglary took place July 17 at a home on Beecher Lane.  The victim in this case left her car open.  Someone stole her iPod.

Authorities said all five victims admitted to leaving the doors open on their cars.
