JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Northeast Florida has racing on its mind with the summer race at Daytona this weekend. That extends to members of the Jacksonville Jaguars like running back Jordan Todman, who was among the first in the community to the hit the track at the new Autobahn Indoor Speedway. The Jags running back went up against the best of the best in high speed go-karts and after taking his lumps early Todman recovered to post his best lap times at the end of the race.
Todman likened the experience to football saying "[you] definitely have to find your holes, your seams and moving at a high speed, and everyone else is moving at a high speed also, just like the football field. Also I used some blocking like when they were behind me so they wouldn't double lap me or anything."
The day also had an added meaning with the track donating half its proceeds to the Armed Forces Foundation.
