Seminoles show up for NFL pro day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- One year after seeing 11 Florida State players selected in the NFL Draft, the Seminoles will be busy once again on draft day in 2014.

The Noles held their annual Pro Day Tuesday with representatives from all 32 NFL teams in attendance. The collection of scouts and coaches included: Mike Tomlin, Chip Kelly and Rob Ryan.

Early projections have three FSU players going in the first round led by Lake City native Timmy Jernigan. The Columbia High grad is among the top defensive tackles in the nation. Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin and defensive back Lamarcus Joyner also garner first-round status.

Also making an appearance at Pro Day was Heisman trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston although not in a throwing capacity.

The rising redshirt sophomore dropped by to support his teammates as they embark on the next chapter in their football careers.
