Bridgette Matter


Bridgette Matter is a general assignment reporter at Action News Jax.

She joined Action News Jax in June of 2015. After trudging through Northwest Indiana snow, Bridgette is excited to be coming home to the Sunshine State.

While in Indiana, she covered the Purvi Patel trial which made national headlines, as Patel became the first woman in the United States convicted on a feticide charge.

Bridgette grew up South of Orlando and attended the University of Central Florida (GO KNIGHTS), there, she earned her Political Science degree with a concentration in international affairs.
