GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — A man from Clay County pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography over the Internet.
Gregory Michael McCarty, 45, of Green Cove Springs, faces from five years up to 20 years in federal prison and possibly a lifetime of supervision.

Undercover agents tracked images and video of child pornography to McCarty's home.
Investigators seized computers and other electronic equipment after getting a search warrant for McCarty's home.

Authorities recovered 18 images of child pornography and 20 videos of minors engaged in sex acts from a hard drive, according to federal prosecutors.
He told investigators, according to court records, that he had been receiving child pornography for about two years and that he "fell into it and never quit."
A sentencing date has not been set.
