JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This week we saw a violation we've never seen before -- health inspectors noted sleeping quarters inside a restaurant.   Action News Jax visited A D Buffalo's on Normandy Boulevard.  While we waited, here's what we found:  A health inspector found roaches -- both dead and alive --  small flies in the kitchen, and reported a private sleeping area inside the restaurant.

The manager claims there was a chair for sitting, not a cot for sleeping.  She then asked Action News Jax to apologize to customers for her and tells us they've stepped up their pest control services.  The follow-up inspection for A & D Buffalo's was clean.

At Gourmet Hut in St. Augustine, a health inspector found live roaches in the kitchen, small flies in the kitchen, and dozens of rodent droppings. It was temporarily shut down until it could address its pest control issues.    At the Golden Egg Roll on Lem Turner Road, a health inspector noted violations of cold food held too warm, raw animal food stored as ready-to-eat food in the reach-in cooler, and the reach-in cooler wasn't cold enough.
