JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two men were hit by a semi-truck in a Jacksonville business parking lot in the 11300 block of West Beaver Street Friday evening, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO says the incident happened around 5:15 p.m. when a semi-truck was turning left into the parking lot.
Police say two men were working on a drain gate in the parking lot when they were hit.
One man suffered from minor injuries and was released from the hospital, the second man suffered from life-threatening injuries, according to JSO.
The driver of the semi remained on scene of the crash and is cooperating with police.
