House fire under control in Mandarin

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — JFRD says firefighters received the call around 6:45 a.m.

Two people were inside at the time of the fire, according to JFRD. A homeowner tried to put the fire out with a garden hose and was unsuccessful, which is when they called 911, said JFRD.

No injuries have been reported.  The State Fire Marshal is responding to the scene.

Firefighters arrived to the home battled heavy smoke and fire coming out of the bedroom. The fire is under control, according to the tweet.
