Jacksonville burglary suspect: I urinated outside house, but I didn't steal anything

It's a crime alert that's hard to forget.

After the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office asked for information regarding a burglary suspect they say urinated in the driveway of a Northside home, just moments before breaking in, police now say a tip has led to an arrest.

JSO says information recently came in that led them to Sandra Samuel's exact location.

Samuel is accused of smashing one of the home's windows and the sliding glass door on the morning of March 6, making multiple trips from the house to her vehicle.

Police say Samuel admitted to urinating outside the home on River Edge Place, but denied breaking in. We’re told she then refused to speak with police.

Police say the home was found rummaged through, with multiple power tools, a laptops, an iPad, and checks stolen.
