COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A person was killed and another critically hurt in a shooting in Lake City Tuesday night.
According to the Lake City Police Department, the shooting was reported just after 6:30 p.m. Officers responded to NS Sam Court where two victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
First responders pronounced one victim dead at the scene. The other victim was transported to a nearby hospital.
