The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office has identified the two drivers who were involved in a serious crash that closed lanes of Race Track Road on Thursday.
John Henry Hill, 63, died when his 2016 Ford truck collided with a 2013 Ford Edge driven by Marguerite Aulik, 59. Aulik is in critical condition at Orange Park Medical Center, deputies said.
Aulik was trying to turn left from Race Track Road onto Durbin Creek Blvd. when she was struck by Hill's truck, the SJSO said.
Traffic going east on Race Track Road was detoured onto Durbin Creek Blvd. following the crash.
