JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An apparent murder-suicide is under investigation in Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded at midnight Friday to a 911 report of domestic violence from a woman. JSO responded to the 10300 block of Shark Road and found two people dead.
JSO said the victim and suspect were involved in a domestic dispute. The suspect shot and killed the victim, then shot and killed himself at a Black Hammock Island home, which is just south of the Nassau County line.
JSO identified Monday the two as Tania Badal Woodrum, 66, and Juan Antonio Martinez, 61.
A neighbor told Action News Jax they wished the victim would've called them for help when she called police.
There are no outstanding suspects, JSO said.
The investigation is ongoing.
