CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — A wrong-way crash in Clay County sent three people to the hospital.
The crash happened late Wednesday night on US 17 near CR 209.
The Florida Highway Patrol said 74-year-old Vickie Lou Matthews was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of US 17 and collided with an oncoming car.
All three victims went to Orange Park Medical Center with serious injuries.
Mathews was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road.
