JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is facing multiple charges after a bust at his home Aug. 28 in Jacksonville’s Biltmore neighborhood. Christopher Herndon, 41, was arrested after Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s SWAT and Narcotics Overdose Unit served a warrant at his home in the 5400 block of Potomac Avenue.
During the raid, officers seized trafficking amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, $11,815 in cash, a money counter, and empty baggies, according to a JSO arrest report. Officers also found a beaker, a whisk, and a blender with power residue and they seized three vehicles that were registered in Herndon’s name; a Honda Accord, a Lexus, and a Chevrolet Silverado.
The arrest report also mentions a notebook found in Herndon’s room.
The report states, “It should be noted that in the front page of the notebook seized from the master bedroom, detectives observed a note that read:
“I Christopher Herndon am going to have large amounts of high potency fentanyl coming back to back for a reasonable price. Everything I touch will succeed! Anything I do I accomplish with great ease no police, hurt, harm, or danger will come to me. I will meet a powerful plug on fentanyl an every other drug I deal with. I can’t be stopped god favors me in everything I do!”
Herndon was released on $312,500 bond Saturday and is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 17 in Duval County Circuit Court.
