JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After much anticipation and excitement, the Action Sports Jax TV channel will be on the air Thursday.
You’ll be able to watch the Tampa Bay Lightning and Orlando Magic play, see Georgia, FSU and Florida shows, the UNF Ospreys, and of course, the Brent and Austen Show.

Here’s what you need to know ahead of the launch:
You can watch over the air (with an antenna or digital antenna) or on Xfinity
Action Sports Jax TV will be free over the air on channel 47.2 and on Xfinity on channel 216 or channel 1188.
If you want to watch Action Sports Jax TV, you’ll either need to get a digital antenna or contact your provider (if you don’t have Xfinity).
Action Sports Jax TV is the official Jacksonville home for the Magic and Lightning
We told you in August that Action Sports Jax TV was selected as the NBA team’s new exclusive local television broadcast partner beginning this season.
Under the agreement, all locally distributed Orlando Magic regular-season games will air on newly created Action Sports Jax TV, as well as some games airing on CBS47 and FOX30.

In September, we told you that Action Sports Jax TV is the Tampa Bay Lightning’s official broadcast partner in Northeast Florida beginning this season.
Under the new agreement, all locally distributed Tampa Bay Lightning regular-season games — apart from national exclusives — will air on Action Sports Jax TV, with select games also airing on CBS47 and FOX30.
Some channels will be moving around
To make room on the air for Action Sports Jax TV, we had to scoot some channels to different spots.
Since Action Sports Jax TV will be on 47.2 over the air with an antenna, Cozi TV, which currently has that channel, is moving spots. It will now air on channel 47.4.
MeTV Toons is moving from channel 47.4 to channel 9.5 (NOTE: that is not a channel managed by our station).
Action Sports Jax 24/7 stream will still be available to watch online
The same great programming you’re used to seeing on the Action Sports Jax 24/7 stream will still be available: the Brent and Austen Show, Jags Report Live, the Friday Night Blitz, and more.
The Lightning and Magic games, however, will not be streaming on Action Sports Jax 24/7. Those will only be shown on Action Sports Jax TV.
