Currently, president of Ascension Seton Williamson in Central Texas, Gnann brings continuity and ‘lifelong connection to the ministry,’ company officials said

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Ascension St. Vincent’s has named Andrew Gnann president and CEO of Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside, effective Sept. 14.

Gnann currently serves as president of Ascension Seton Williamson in Central Texas. Company officials said in a news release that his appointment provides continuity in leadership for the area health care provider.

Gnann brings an understanding of Ascension’s mission and commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care to all, with special attention to people in need, after having been an executive with the company.

His new role continues a lifelong connection to the ministry, company officials said. Gnann and his twin brother were born at a St. Vincent’s hospital in Alabama and began his healthcare career within St. Vincent’s.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join the Northeast Florida community and continue a career that has been shaped by Ascension’s mission,” Gnann said in the release.

Gnann will lead Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside while focusing on clinical excellence, associate and clinician engagement, strategic growth, and expansion of quality care.
