JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE, 6:30AM: The road has reopened.

5:30AM: Atlantic Boulevard from the Hart Bridge exit to Empire Point is completely shutdown Thursday morning due to an accident and downed wires. Both east and westbound lanes are closed, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
