NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — A boil water advisory is in effect for portions of Nassau County residents served by JEA, the county’s emergency management division announced Sunday morning.

Under the advisory, officials ask that residents bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or other activities involving consumption.
Officials have not disclosed why the advisory was put in effect; however, JEA’s website lists the advisory as “unplanned.”
