Boil water notice issued for Palatka

PALATKA, Fla. — City officials in Palatka issued a precautionary boil water notice for the area Monday morning. Water is being turned off in the area of Moseley Street and Golf Drive for installation of a new sewer drain, a city social media post states.

As a precaution, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled, the post states.

The boil water notice will remain in effect the problem has been corrected.
