WHAT: Free mammogram screenings for women who meet eligibility guidelines
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9
WHERE: Lowe's, 1410 Boone Avenue, Kingsland, Ga.
WHY: In observance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Camden County Health Department's Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) is partnering with the Southeast Georgia Health System Breast Care Center's Mobile Mammography Program to enroll women into BCCP, provide breast screenings, and offer free mammograms from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Lowe's located at 1410 Boone Avenue in Kingsland, Ga.
Women who meet certain annual income guidelines and are 40 to 64 years of age without insurance will be eligible to receive a screening mammogram at no cost.
