Ronald "Champ" Bailey has been inducted into the 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Bailey is from Folkston, Georgia and went to high school in Charlton County.
He played football for the Georgia Bulldogs in college. He was drafted in 1999 into the NFL by the Washington Redskins.
In 2004, he was traded to the Denver Broncos and was released in early 2014. He was then signed to the New Orleans Saints but shortly after was released before the start of the regular season.
In October of 2014, Bailey announced his retirement from the NFL.
He was selected to 12 Pro Bowls in his career and currently holds the NFL record for most passes defended with 203.
