WANTED: Folkston murder suspect may be armed and dangerous, GBI says

FOLKSTON, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Folkston Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who is wanted for murder.

Police say Terry Roberson, 33, is a suspect in a deadly shooting that killed Javarr Nelson on Aug. 1, 2021, in Folkston.

The GBI has arrest warrants out for Roberson for felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

In the police’s “Be on the lookout” (BOLO) notice, they said he may be armed and dangerous.

Roberson has black hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet, 9 inches and weighs 215 pounds.
