Chris Barton was moved from the Baker County Jail Tuesday after Ruben Ebron joined him and Lonzie's mother Lonna Lauramore Barton at the jail.
Chris Barton is now in the Bradford County Jail, according to the jail's online records.
All three suspects are awaiting trial on drug charges.
Ebron was transported to the jail Tuesday after his court hearing on his drug charges.
The judge rejected two plea deals offered by his attorney.
That means he's going to trial and, in the meantime, his attorney wants him in Baker County Jail so they can prepare.
Sheriff Joey Dobson said he was taken off guard.
"We were not prepared, I don't guess, to think that maybe Mr. Ebron was going to be brought to us," said Dobson.
Dobson decided to move Chris Barton to a different jail while Ebron is in Baker.
"It would be better logistically for the Baker County Sheriff's Office detention staff not to have Mr. Ebron in one section, and Mr. Barton in another, and then Ms. Barton in another section," said Dobson.
Last month, Action News Jax told you Chris Barton and Ransom Barefoot, who claims who be Lonzie's real father, got in a fight inside Baker County Jail's church.
"That would never happen in this case, for sure, because Mr. Ebron will be kept totally separate," said Dobson.
Barefoot is no longer in that jail.
