JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Military Affairs and Veterans Department will be offering crucial services to all veterans during its annual Homeless Veterans Stand Down two-day event. The events will be held at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, events will be centering on a job fair and other support services like shelter and housing, and medical and dental services. The event starts at 10 a.m.
On Saturday, the event will be focused more on homeless veterans by giving food, clothing, and hygeine kits out. There will also be VA Services and a Veterans Center available for people who need them. This event starts at 9 a.m.
