JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A “single digit” number of people in Jacksonville are being monitored for the coronavirus by the Florida Department of Health, the city told Action News Jax Monday morning.
People are being monitored in their homes, not at hospitals.

Monitoring does not mean they have the virus, officials said. There are two Florida cases of the coronavirus in Hillsborough County and Manatee County that have been confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control that the Florida Department of Health is also monitoring.
